Job summary

Home Chef is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift (3:00pm - 11:00pm) to support production at our Atlanta facility. The role focuses on equipment maintenance, facility upkeep, and safety compliance to minimize downtime and ensure GMP standards.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in industrial maintenance, with electrical or programming experience and knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

Qualifications

• General high school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum five years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing, food manufacturing preferred.
• At least 2 years of electrical or programming experience preferred.
• Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems is required.

Responsibilities

• Conducts maintenance on production equipment including motors, conveyors, fillers, and wrappers.
• Maintains and repairs facility infrastructure and utilities (dock doors, plumbing, access control).
• Maintains shop organization, stores parts, and keeps records of safety equipment.
• Manages time effectively to minimize production downtime and prioritizes work orders.
• Ensures compliance with GMP and SQF food safety requirements.
