Job summary

Home Chef in California is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a shift of maintenance technicians and ensure reliable operation of automated equipment and facilities.

You will manage preventive maintenance programs, coordinate contractor work, uphold GMP and safety policies, and drive continuous improvement to minimize downtime in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. The role follows a 2nd shift, 3:00pm–11:30pm, with Friday & Saturday off as designated.

Qualifications

• Experience leading maintenance teams in a food manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge of GMP and safety policies in production environments.
• Experience implementing preventive maintenance programs.
• Familiarity with PLCs and automation equipment in a plant.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and supervise a shift of maintenance technicians.
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance plans to maximize uptime.
• Install, maintain and troubleshoot automation systems and equipment.
• Manage contractor work and maintain PM records in CMMS.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, safety rules, and environmental policies.
• Coordinate continuous improvement to minimize downtime and outages.
