Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Maintenance Technician for on-site work in Detroit, MI. The role supports operation, inspection and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across the facility.

Union position with 2nd shift availability; requires 1–3 years of experience and physical ability to lift heavy loads. The candidate will use CMMS Corrigo to manage work orders, perform routine inspections, and assist with day-to-day building maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of maintenance/repair experience.
• Licenses as required by authority having jurisdiction.
• Able to lift up to 80 lbs and climb ladders up to 30 ft.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and repair work orders on mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems and related components.
• Inspect interiors and exteriors, reporting conditions affecting occupancy and operations.
• Move furniture and repair office equipment and doors as needed.
• Replace lighting and ballasts; maintain HVAC components as directed.
• Utilize CMMS (Corrigo) for all work and update orders in real time.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, ordinances, and regulations.
