Job summary

American Products is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician II for the 2nd shift to support plant operations by maintaining and repairing production equipment and facility systems. This role is essential for uptime, safety, and efficiency across our manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, strong troubleshooting across mechanical and electrical systems, and familiarity with CMMS software.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Strong troubleshooting across mechanical and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Experience with CMMS systems.
• Industrial Maintenance certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance independently.
• Diagnose equipment issues including motors, switches, breakers, power systems.
• Work with 480V, 230V (3-phase), and single-phase electrical systems.
• Disassemble and repair machinery to correct malfunctions.
• Fabricate or repair parts using shop equipment (lathe, drill press, grinder, welding).
• Inspect components for wear, misalignment, or failure.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Support facility maintenance needs as required.
