Job summary

Linked Professional Services is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment in a GMP manufacturing environment. The role requires mechanical aptitude, technical troubleshooting, and the ability to work independently in a regulated setting.

You'll perform PMs, replace worn parts, and support continuous improvement initiatives while adhering to safety and GMP requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Technical School Diploma required.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Mechanic or Maintenance Technician preferred.
• Experience in a pharmaceutical or solid dosage manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience working in a GMP-regulated environment preferred.
• Facility maintenance background is a plus.
• Mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Basic knowledge of three-phase electrical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and operational equipment issues.
• Basic machine shop and welding skills preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong math and reading comprehension skills.
• Verbal and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment and facility/building systems.
• Analyze mechanical, electrical, and operational issues and implement corrective actions.
• Perform preventive maintenance according to established schedules.
• Replace worn or defective parts and ensure equipment operates efficiently.
• Test equipment after maintenance to verify proper operation.
• Identify recurring equipment malfunctions and communicate corrective actions to supervisors.
• Perform basic three-phase electrical troubleshooting.
• Use mechanical skills, including basic machine shop and welding skills when required.
• Work independently with minimal supervision to complete tasks.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime.
• Follow safety, OSHA, and company policies; maintain GMP compliance.
