Job summary

Maker's Pride is seeking a plant maintenance technician to inspect, repair and maintain equipment across the facility while upholding GMP and food safety standards. You will support production, packaging and warehouse operations and help sustain a safe, clean environment.

The role requires a high school diploma with 1–3 years of maintenance experience; a 2-year trades degree is preferred. Electrical print reading, motor controls and welding skills are desirable.

Qualifications

• High school degree required plus 1–3 years plant maintenance experience.
• A 2-year trades degree is preferred.
• Electrical print reading, motor controls experience, and welding/fabrication experience are necessary.
• Experience with food/USDA facilities is a plus.
• Basic math, attention to detail, legible record-keeping and data entry skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and maintain equipment including refrigeration, production and building systems.
• Assist in training employees on operation of equipment.
• Provide support to production, assembly, packaging and warehouse.
• Maintain a preventive maintenance program with documentation.
• Develop and implement improvements to daily operations to reduce downtime.
