Job summary

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Tech B for the 2nd shift to ensure production equipment operates safely, reliably, and efficiently. You will perform hands-on maintenance, diagnose issues, and support plant reliability while collaborating closely with operations teams.

In this mid-level role, you will develop advanced maintenance skills, document work in CMMS, and mentor entry-level technicians, contributing to continuous improvement and reduced downtime across the facility.

Qualifications

3+ years in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
Strong mechanical troubleshooting and safety expertise.
Experience using CMMS to document work and manage parts.

Responsibilities

Perform hands-on maintenance and repairs on a wide range of industrial equipment.
Maintain mechanical systems including bearings, shafts, belts, motors, and gearboxes.
Service conveyance systems, piping, and utilities (steam, air, water).
Diagnose and resolve equipment issues impacting safety, quality, and production efficiency.
Execute repairs efficiently and communicate findings and recommendations to teams.
Complete work orders and support plant reliability improvements.
Mentor entry-level technicians and collaborate with senior staff.
