Job summary

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Technician (Level C) on 2nd shift to support reliable operation of production equipment.

You will perform hands-on maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and assist senior technicians while building foundational skills in reliability practices. Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems, reading basic drawings, using CMMS to document work, and following safety procedures such as LOTO.

Qualifications

Foundational experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and maintenance practices.
Understanding of safety practices including LOTO and PPE.
Ability to read mechanical drawings and interpret basic schematics.
Willingness to learn and grow in reliability and maintenance.

Responsibilities

Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
Diagnose problems, perform repairs, and restore functionality.
Document issues, root causes, and actions in maintenance records.
Execute scheduled inspections, lubrication, and part replacements.
Support equipment installations, upgrades, and process improvements.
Collaborate with senior technicians and leads to complete assignments.
