Job summary

Gildan is seeking a Maintenance Tech IV for the 2nd shift to deliver advanced maintenance and TPM for the VSC. You will lead troubleshooting, PMs, and repairs for conveyors, AS/RS, cranes, and related systems, ensuring safe, reliable operation.

You will train and mentor junior technicians, manage work orders, and engage in continuous improvement to sustain equipment uptime and compliance across the Martinsville, VA facility.

Qualifications

• 2 year degree in electrical/instrumentation related field.
• 2+ years maintenance experience, 4 years preferred.
• Experience with PLC setup/programming and VFDs.
• Experience with HMI/SCADA systems preferred.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced programming, troubleshooting, and improvement support for automated systems.
• Serve as lead technician and train other technicians.
• Install, PM, and repair PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and related components.
• Ensure PMs and work orders are completed and audited.
• Create, allocate, and audit work orders for assigned departments.
• Engage in continuous improvement to sustain good working order.
