Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for 2nd and 3rd shift in Richmond, Indiana. You will perform routine and corrective maintenance on facilities equipment, interpret schematics, and help sustain safe, efficient operations in a manufacturing environment.

You will troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and plumbing systems, weld as needed, and supervise junior staff during projects. Strong English communication and a safety‑first mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repair.
• Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems and components, including the use of an ohmmeter.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Experience in manufacturing environments is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
• Perform repairs on mechanical systems, including hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for troubleshooting and repairs.
• Execute welding tasks as required for structural or equipment repairs.
• Interpret schematics and technical drawings to guide maintenance activities.
• Supervise junior maintenance staff and provide leadership during projects.
• Assist with facility maintenance
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with facility occupants.
