Job summary

O&K American Corp. is hiring a Maintenance Technician for 2nd shift in Seymour, IN. The role involves installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment and electrical controls to keep the facility operational.

Duties include diagnosing issues, testing circuits, wiring and power distribution, and guiding helpers on projects. Requires reading technical manuals and basic tool skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent in manufacturing, electrical, welding, trades or military education preferred.
• Proven maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, welding, industrial electrical and mechanical experience is a plus.
• Experience with hand and electrical tools; forklift and overhead crane experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment and electrical controls.
• Troubleshoot, test electrical systems, replace parts, and reassemble equipment.
• Read and use technical manuals and drawings; modify wiring diagrams as needed.
• Direct helpers on repair projects and ensure proper power distribution.
