Job summary

Dover Food Retail in Keosauqua, IA is hiring for Maintenance Technician II or III to ensure daily, safe operation of plant equipment. The role may be filled at Tech III level based on experience.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, inventory management, and collaboration with a maintenance team. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, basic electrical and mechanical knowledge, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2-year degree in industrial technology or 5+ years related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of sheet metal equipment and basic shop tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, test, and repair plant machinery and equipment to assure safe and efficient operation.
• Ensure PPE, parts, tools, and supplies are available for tasks.
• Manage spare parts and consumables inventory.
• Use CMMS to manage maintenance work orders and root cause analysis.
• Communicate technical information clearly during shift turnover.
• Operate forklifts and company vehicle as required.
• Support Lean initiatives such as 6S, Kanban and TPM.
