Job summary

Shaw Contract EMEA is seeking a Maintenance Technician C for the 2nd shift to support the tufting department. The role involves hands-on maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and assisting senior technicians to minimize downtime and maintain product quality.

The candidate will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, inspect and service mechanical systems, and document issues using CMMS. Work hours are 3:30pm-11:30pm with a team-focused, safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Foundational experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Maintain mechanical systems such as bearings, belts, chains, pulleys, shafts, motors, and gearboxes.
• Support conveyance systems, pumps, valves, and utility systems (steam, air, water).
• Assist with hydraulic and pneumatic system maintenance to ensure safe, continuous operation.
• Identify and resolve common mechanical issues impacting safety, quality, or production.
• Diagnose problems, perform repairs or part replacements, and restore equipment functionality.
• Document and communicate issues, root causes, and corrective actions to maintenance and operations teams.
• Perform scheduled inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and part replacements.
• Use basic tools to monitor equipment condition.
• Execute repairs based on inspection findings and established maintenance plans.
• Complete assigned work orders supporting plant reliability and improvement initiatives.
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications.
