Job summary

True North Consultants, Inc. seeks a Mechanical Maintenance Technician – Conveyors & Hydraulics for the 2nd shift in the Greater Madison area. The role focuses on high-speed conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic welding in a large food processing facility.

The position offers a base of $31.00/hour plus premium overtime, a full benefits package, and a strong culture of safety and training in a century-old, respected company.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in industrial mechanical maintenance.
• Hydraulics, pneumatics and conveyors experience.
• Basic structural welding and fabrication ability.
• Food-safe GMP environment experience preferred.
• US citizenship or green card required.
• 45-minute daily commute to Greater Madison, WI.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair high-speed packaging lines and conveyors.
• Service hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components.
• Perform MIG/TIG welding and structural modifications.
• Maintain GMP compliance and sanitation standards.
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure safe, reliable equipment.
