The Keystone Distinction Group is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift at a Greater Madison, WI food processing facility. The role focuses on conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and high-speed packaging equipment, with a base rate of $31.00/hour plus premium overtime.

You will work in a century-old, highly regulated environment, benefiting from top-tier tooling, strong safety protocols, GMP compliance, and an established culture of stability and training.

Qualifications

• 1+ year mechanical maintenance in a fast-paced production setting, with hydraulics, pneumatics and conveyors.
• Basic structural welding and metal fabrication for repair work.
• Comfort working in a food-safe facility with strict cleanliness, safety standards and GMP compliance.
• Stable employment history showing reliability and teamwork.
• Residence within daily 45-minute drive of Greater Madison, WI.
• Must be a US citizen or lawful permanent resident (Green Card).

Responsibilities

• Maintain high-speed processing lines and perform mechanical troubleshooting and fast fault-tracing.
• Service conveyors and drive assemblies; troubleshoot, rebuild and optimize conveyor networks.
• Diagnose and service hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including pumps, cylinders and valves.
• Perform structural modifications using MIG/TIG welding to repair guards and frames.
• Ensure equipment and work areas meet GMP and sanitation requirements.
