Job summary

A long-standing food processing manufacturer near Greater Madison, WI seeks an Industrial Maintenance Technician for 2nd shift on-site. You will keep high-speed production lines running safely, perform mechanical repairs, and optimize conveyors while upholding GMP standards.

Requirements include 1+ year in industrial maintenance, welding skills, and a strong safety mindset. Must reside within a 45-minute commute and be eligible to work in the US. Full benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in industrial mechanical maintenance in a fast-paced production setting.
• Core strengths in hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyors.
• Basic welding skills (structural welding, torch cutting, metal fitting).
• Food-safe environment experience and GMP compliance mindset.
• Stable employment history with strong teamwork and attendance.
• Residence within 45-minute commute of Greater Madison, WI.
• US Citizen or Green Card holder.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical troubleshooting and emergency repairs on high-speed packaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot, rebuild, and optimize conveyor networks and drive assemblies.
• Inspect and service pneumatic systems, valves, pumps, cylinders and fluid loops.
• Weld and fabricate using MIG/TIG to modify machinery frames and guards.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, and GMP guidelines in production areas.
