Job summary

Job Juncture seeks a Mechanical Maintenance Technician – Conveyors & Hydraulics (2nd Shift) in Wisconsin. The role offers a base around $65k–$67k yearly with premium overtime and full benefits in a Century-old food processing facility just outside Greater Madison.

Expect 2nd shift Monday–Friday with time-and-a-half after 8 hours and double-time Sundays. You will maintain high-speed processing lines, service conveyors, diagnose fluid power systems, and perform welding/fabrication with GMP

Qualifications

• 1+ year mechanical maintenance in a fast-paced production setting ( hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors )
• Fabrication welding basics (MIG/TIG) for machinery repair
• Able to work in a food-safe GMP environment with strict cleanliness and safety standards
• Proven reliability with strong attendance and teamwork
• Residence within daily 45-minute commute of Greater Madison, WI; US citizen or green card holder

Responsibilities

• Maintain High-Speed Processing Lines: troubleshoot, fault-trace and repair packaging equipment.
• Service Conveyors & Drive Assemblies: rebuild conveyors, belts, gearboxes and drive parts.
• Diagnose Fluid Power Systems: service hydraulic/pneumatic systems and components.
• Execute Structural Modifications: MIG/TIG welding and fabrications on machine frames and guards.
• Maintain Regulatory Compliance: ensure GMP, sanitation and safety protocols are followed.
