Job summary

General Mills, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor (Team Leader) to provide frontline safety leadership and technical guidance for a 2nd shift maintenance team. You will lead mechanics and specialists, build maintenance capability, and drive reliable plant operations.

You will implement 90 Day action plans, lead DDS meetings, and ensure effective maintenance foundational systems, DH and BE processes, and budgeting for the line. Opportunity to develop skills and advance within the plant.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required or equivalent.
• 2+ years in manufacturing with frontline/technical leadership.
• Experience with maintenance programs and data-driven improvements.
• Familiar with Maximo and maintenance planning.
• Strong communication across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety and engagement-based maintenance teams on 2nd shift (3:00pm–11:00pm).
• Drive 90 Day action plan and direct DDS meetings.
• Oversee maintenance foundational systems and DH/BE processes.
• Manage budget, scheduling, and work prioritization.
• Develop training plans using a skills matrix.
