Job summary

Johnsonville, LLC. is seeking a Maintenance Lead for our Sheboygan, WI facility. You will supervise and coach the maintenance team, lead preventative maintenance, and troubleshoot industrial equipment including HVAC boilers and ammonia refrigeration.

The role collaborates with engineers and production staff to upgrade machinery and improve reliability. You will manage second-shift activities, develop team talents, and ensure effective communication across departments.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to coach and mentor teammates to higher levels.
• Proven problem-solving in mechanical and technical contexts.
• HVAC, boilers, and ammonia refrigeration background a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication; computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in preventative and predictive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot plant equipment and utility systems.
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams on upgrades.
• Develop and train maintenance staff to meet needs.
• Coordinate 2nd shift maintenance activities and scheduling.
• Improve communication between Maintenance and Operations across shifts.
