Job summary

Jones Dairy Farm in Fort Atkinson, WI is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician for 1st or 2nd shift. You will lead advanced troubleshooting, improve plant reliability, and drive maintenance improvements while mentoring teammates.

Responsible for CMMS documentation, root cause analysis, and aligning with production leadership to optimize downtime and uptime. This is a hands-on, leadership-focused role in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a maintenance technician role with strong troubleshooting.
• Experience leading maintenance initiatives and PM/PDM strategies.
• Proficient with pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical/mechanical systems, PLCs and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced troubleshooting of complex equipment and act as technical resource.
• Drive safe, reliable, and efficient operation; identify and eliminate failure points.
• Maintain CMMS documentation for PMs and corrective maintenance.
• Improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs to increase uptime.
• Mentor Maintenance Mechanics and Technicians; share knowledge and best practices.
• Coordinate with Project Manager and Supervisors to plan shutdowns and allocate resources.
• Maintain housekeeping and support other plant maintenance areas as needed.
