Job summary

PurposeBuilt Brands in Manchester, TN is seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance Team Lead to oversee preventive maintenance, repair of filling and packaging equipment, and building systems. You will lead a maintenance crew, schedule PMs, and ensure safety and GMP compliance.

The role requires strong leadership, mechanical/electrical/pneumatic skills, and flexibility for off-hours work. Eligible for a $2,000 sign-on bonus; company offers PTO, bonuses, and an employee discount.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic/hydraulic maintenance abilities.
• Effective communication with vendors and management.
• Willingness to work off hours, overtime, and holidays for repairs and PMs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the maintenance team in executing general maintenance tasks, preventive and reactive.
• Schedule and oversee PM tasks according to the maintenance calendar.
• Maintain PM checklists compliant with GMP requirements.
• Maintain and update parts and consumables library.
• Oversee operation of heavy equipment (fork trucks, scissor lifts, boom lifts) and power tools.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and efficiently.
