Reser's Fine Foods is seeking a Maintenance Technician MT1 to perform preventive and urgent maintenance on production machinery. Expect $1 shift differential for 2nd shift and a sign-on bonus up to $3000 with actual amount determined by level of MT1 hired.

Requires reading blueprints, troubleshooting PLCs, and strong mechanical/electrical knowledge. Responsibilities include prioritizing downtime, collaborating across departments, and assisting with new equipment installations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a multi-craft industrial technician.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certificate or degree preferred.
• Proven knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Demonstrated intermediate troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and regulations.
• Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Proficient in using electrical testing and hand tools.
• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy equipment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventative and urgent maintenance of production machinery and equipment.
• Prioritize downtime issues to meet production needs.
• Read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Perform intermediate electrical duties (minor troubleshooting, starters, sensors, etc.).
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment with timing and PLCs.
• Communicate with all departments, customers and other engineering and production functions; attend on-site meetings as required.
• Assist with installation of new equipment as required.
• Perform additional duties including facilities tasks and special projects as assigned.
