Job summary

PurposeBuilt Brands, located in Manchester, TN, is seeking a Line Lead to oversee daily production operations, ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, and adherence to schedules. You will manage line start-ups, changeovers, and material verification while maintaining accurate documentation and continuous output.

The role requires 1–3 years in manufacturing, strong communication, and the ability to train and coach operators. Syspro experience is a plus; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have good listening and interpersonal communications skills.
• Must be able to effectively drive production team to meet the standards.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Syspro experience a plus.
• Ability to read and write basic English.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Daily start-up and shutdown of production area.
• Ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are met.
• Verify materials to be used in production match requirements in the Bill of Materials.
• Document daily production performance and issues.
• Maintain continual production to maximize daily output.
• Perform routine quality testing of product.
• Enter data into Syspro to close jobs and print pallet placards.
• Direct the efforts of production team to meet targets.
• Lead by example and coordinate daily activities of production team in assigned areas.
• Lead line startups and changeovers to maximize uptime and productivity.
• Serve as backup for production associates during breaks or absences.
• Train, coach, and cross-train operators on equipment operations, material handling, gauging, documentation, and safety requirements.
• Enforce safety policies and promote a strong safety culture on the floor.
• Maintain a clean, organized, 5S-compliant production environment.
• Motivate and support team members; provide coverage for breaks.
