Simpson Strong-Tie Company Inc. in Gallatin, TN is seeking a Maintenance Technician Lead to safely maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment and building systems. The role oversees daily activities of the Maintenance Technicians, schedules work, and mentors the team.

Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–1:30 AM with overtime as needed. This full-time, non-exempt position requires strong leadership, blueprint-reading ability, and proficiency with

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• PIT Certification will be provided at hire.
• 6-10 years of related experience; leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, electrical and hydraulic diagrams.
• Computer skills for parts stocking, time keeping, and work order processing.
• OSHA safety rules knowledge and compliance.
• Proficient math and analytical skills.
• Ability to read scientific/technical documents and respond to inquiries.
• Ability to work with complex variables and nonverbal data.
