Job summary

Nestlé Purina North America is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for our King William, VA plant on the 2nd shift (3pm-11pm). You will lead a maintenance team responsible for equipment installation, preventive maintenance, and TPM initiatives to maximize performance and safety.

You will coach, schedule, and collaborate with production and engineering to maintain quality and control costs. The role requires a high school diploma, 1+ years of leadership, and 3+ years of maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience managing a team in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Maintenance supervision responsibilities including TPM and safety practices.
• Ability to coordinate maintenance projects with production and engineering.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate installation and maintenance of equipment in the most efficient manner
• Schedule maintenance projects in collaboration with production and engineering departments
• Ensure that all members of the maintenance department are properly trained in safety procedures and Total Quality Maintenance
• Provide guidance and coaching, employee scheduling, evaluation and development for team members
• Confer with Maintenance Manager on establishing and receiving quality assurance standards
• Recommend strategies for efficient operation of maintenance department, including implementation of projects and budget modifications
