Job summary

Nestlé Purina North America in Denver is seeking a Maintenance Technician to manage preventative and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment across electrical, mechanical, and automation domains. This role operates on 2nd or 3rd shift and offers growth opportunities within Purina.

You will troubleshoot plant systems, repair conveyors and packaging equipment, and use test tools like multimeters and process simulators.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalence.
1+ years’ maintenance experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment OR 2 Year Technical Degree

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair plant systems including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and instrumentation.
Repair gear reducers, belt and screw conveyors, chain elevators, and packaging equipment.
Use test equipment such as multimeters, megohmmeters, and process simulators.
Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance on general plant electrical equipment such as starters, PLCs, start/stop stations, motors up to 480V.
Understand measurement/testing devices and mechanical systems.
Demonstrate knowledge of electrical diagrams/circuits during troubleshooting.
Access PLC programs for troubleshooting (not required to program).
