Job summary

Tyson Foods in Kansas City, KS is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor for our Prepared Foods location. You will oversee all plant maintenance activities, lead maintenance technicians, and partner with the Maintenance Manager to enforce policies and safety standards.

Candidates should have 3+ years in maintenance roles, an associate degree in a related field, PLC/SAP familiarity, and strong communication skills. Weekend work and background checks may apply; relocation not offered.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a related field preferred.
• 3+ years as Maintenance Technician or Maintenance Lead.
• Experience directing, evaluating and training maintenance technicians preferred.
• Must reside in the United States.
• Basic PLC knowledge and SAP experience a plus.
• Must be able to work weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all plant maintenance activities and schedules.
• Lead maintenance technicians and coach performance.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Manager on policies and procedures.
• Ensure GMP, HACCP, PSM and safety programs are followed.
• Maintain inventory, parts, and documentation for the department.
• Complete required reports and maintain equipment knowledge.
