Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the 2nd shift to oversee maintenance activities across the facility. This role ensures reliable equipment performance, safe utility systems, and efficient operations while leading maintenance teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in poultry or food manufacturing, with knowledge of refrigeration, PLCs, electrical systems, and mechanical disciplines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in poultry/food manufacturing
• Experience with processing equipment and industrial maintenance systems

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance team responsible for repair, installation, and upkeep of plant equipment, facilities, and utility systems
• Plan, assign, and monitor work schedules to ensure timely completion of maintenance activities
• Maintain production equipment to minimize downtime and ensure safety and operational standards
• Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs for equipment reliability
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues and support team members in problem-solving
• Support facility improvements and procurement of tools, equipment, and supplies
• Other duties as assigned
