Job summary
Pilgrim’s is seeking a Maintenance Superintendent to lead all maintenance planning and the coordination of the maintenance department at our facility. You will organize activities related to the physical maintenance and sanitation of company property and capital equipment.
The role requires 4 years of poultry maintenance/food manufacturing experience, knowledge of refrigeration and PLCs, and strong leadership and communication skills.
Qualifications
- 4 years’ poultry maintenance/food manufacturing experience.
- Experience with processing equipment.
- Knowledge of refrigeration.
- Knowledge of PLCs.
- Electrical systems knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong computer skills.
- Self-motivated and proactive.
Responsibilities
- Oversee maintenance planning and department coordination.
- Supervise painting, structural repairs, and building systems.
- Manage mechanical, electrical, and facility maintenance.
- Develop preventive maintenance programs.
- Prepare work schedules and assign tasks.
- Ensure compliance with policies and safety.
- Lead ground maintenance and custodial supervision as needed.
- Assist in new construction projects and modifications.
