Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor on the 2nd shift to supervise maintenance teams, coordinate repairs, and ensure reliable plant operations. The role emphasizes safety, preventive maintenance, and cost-effective support for production.

You will lead a team in a fast-paced facility, plan schedules, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to continuous improvement with procurement support and stronger equipment reliability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in poultry or food manufacturing.
• Experience with processing equipment and industrial maintenance systems.
• Working knowledge of refrigeration, PLCs/electrical systems, plumbing, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills and ability to support maintenance systems.
• Ability to become Haz-Mat team qualified.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance team responsible for repair, installation, and upkeep of plant equipment, facilities, and utility systems.
• Plan, assign, and monitor work schedules to ensure timely and effective completion of maintenance activities.
• Maintain production equipment to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs to ensure consistent execution and equipment reliability.
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues and support team members in problem-solving and technical development.
• Support facility improvements and manage procurement of tools, equipment, and supplies to drive efficient operations.
• Other duties as assigned.
