Job summary

Nestlé Burlington is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment and support systems. The role uses hydraulic/pneumatic knowledge and machine shop tools to keep assets at peak condition.

You will read blueprints, plan tasks, and use hand tools safely, while installing new equipment and training teammates. A GED/HS diploma and 3–5 years' related experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 3–5 years related experience.
• Proficiency in machinist, millwright, welder or pipe fitter roles.
• Ability to read blueprints and diagrams for troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair and troubleshoot high speed packaging machinery and equipment.
• Fabricate, repair and use Nestlé reporting system for work orders and PMs.
• Read blueprints and use power/hand tools to support maintenance tasks.
• Install new equipment and train others in job tasks.
• Maintain sanitation and housekeeping of work area.
