Job summary

Nestlé USA is seeking a Set-Up Technician to keep production equipment running smoothly by assembling, disassembling, and maintaining machines for each job. You will support line setup, troubleshoot issues, and work with operators and maintenance teams to ensure safe, efficient production.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years of mechanical or machine operator experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of mechanical or machine operator experience.
• Mechanical/electrical trade background or technical school preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and move throughout shift.
• Comfortable around powders, chemicals, and food allergens.
• Flexible to work overtime based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, disassemble, clean, and maintain production equipment.
• Set up and operate manufacturing and packaging machines.
• Make adjustments and minor repairs to support productivity.
• Troubleshoot setup issues and minimize downtime.
• Monitor and optimize lines during production runs.
• Match labels with batch records and verify accuracy.
• Maintain inventory of tools and parts.
• Assist operators and maintenance technicians as needed.
• Create or update machine centerline procedures.
• Follow safety rules, GMPs, SOPs, and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
