Job summary

Nestlé USA is seeking a Mechanic A for the 2nd shift (Mon–Fri, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM) to keep production and facility equipment running at peak performance. You’ll perform advanced repairs, troubleshoot complex systems, and mentor others to improve safety and reliability.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 8+ years in maintenance (5+ in manufacturing), a strong electrical background, and PLC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical school preferred
• 8+ years of maintenance experience, 5+ years in manufacturing
• Strong electrical background; PLC programming experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced mechanical, electrical, and electronic repairs
• Troubleshoot and maintain pneumatic, hydraulic, and steam systems
• Lead or support root cause analysis and problem-solving projects
• Monitor and maintain plant systems (boilers, compressors, HVAC, etc.)
• Use manuals, drawings, and technical resources to diagnose issues
• Maintain organized workspaces and inventory areas
• Support emergency repairs and scheduled maintenance
• Train and mentor lower-level technicians
• Follow safety rules, GMPs, SOPs, and company policies
• Perform other duties as assigned
