Job summary

ViskoTeepak in Kenosha, WI is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to keep our machinery and building in safe working condition. You will perform preventive and predictive maintenance, repair downed equipment quickly, and collaborate with production to resolve technical issues.

The role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical skills, experience with PLCs, hydraulics, and reading blueprints. You will help improve equipment efficiency and maintain thorough maintenance records.

Qualifications

Proficient in routine preventive maintenance of plant equipment and facilities.
Able to diagnose and repair equipment problems, with long-term mitigation in mind.
Strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical and electrical systems.
Working knowledge of inventory maintenance systems and documentation.

Responsibilities

Perform routine preventive maintenance activities on machinery and facilities.
Identify and implement efficiency improvements for equipment and processes.
Assist in installation, start-up and qualification of new equipment; troubleshoot issues.
Review equipment docs to update maintenance schedules; analyze data for predictive maintenance.
Maintain detailed records of work, parts used, and time spent.
Set up and troubleshoot process equipment and coordinate with production teams.
Operate and repair PLCs, hydraulics, and electrical components; read blueprints.
