Job summary

Kroger Kenosha plant is seeking a maintenance technician to perform preventative maintenance, repair machinery, inspect equipment, and support building systems. You will use machine tools and coordinate with the team to maintain safety, quality, and reliability in our operations.

The role requires strong detail orientation, ability to work with electrical, welding and PLCs, and commitment to our Customer 1st strategy.

Qualifications

Strong attention to detail with high degree of accuracy.
Able to work with electrical, welding, utilities and basic PLCs.
High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems in the facility.
Set up and use machine tools to repair or fabricate parts.
Troubleshoot issues and repair failures of production and facility equipment for maximum efficiency.
Complete assigned work orders and unplanned tasks as required.
Maintain maintenance area in a clean and orderly fashion.
Document work order information and completion.
Support predictive and preventative maintenance programs.
Participate in plant initiatives to minimize downtime and optimize the plant.
