Job summary
QPS Employment Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Kenosha, WI for a direct hire position on the 2nd shift (2:00pm-10:00pm, Tue-Sat). The role focuses on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production and packaging equipment to minimize downtime.
The ideal candidate has 3+ years of industrial mechanical maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, and preferred technical training or an associate degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 3+ years of industrial mechanical maintenance/repair experience.
- Associate degree preferred in Industrial Maintenance, Robotics, Industrial Technology, or related field.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair production and packaging equipment.
- Monitor equipment operation and adjust to improve performance.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on machinery.
- Disassemble and inspect equipment, replace worn components.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with production to reduce downtime.
