Ventek Solutions in Shelbyville, KY is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for second shift to ensure high-quality, timely output. You will support production by installing and maintaining equipment, troubleshooting PLCs, and working with cross-functional teams to resolve issues quickly.

The role requires hands-on technical skills, strong safety awareness, and the ability to manage multiple maintenance tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3 years industrial maintenance experience required.
• 2 years experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Must read/write English and understand policies and directions.
• Experience with 480 volt and 3 phase electrical systems.
• PLC troubleshooting and motor controls experience required.
• Certified on Material Handler including scissor lift.
• Ability to work at heights; kneel, bend and twist while working.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. throughout shift.
• Industrial environment troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining or installing manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Support Ventek’s quality and safety policies in daily tasks.
• Install and maintain auxiliary equipment as required by production.
• Maintain and repair utility and facility equipment as directed.
• Train and assist other maintenance personnel with repairs, PMs, and rebuilds.
• Collaborate with other departments for proactive problem resolution.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area.
• Manage small projects to upgrade or maintain equipment.
