Job summary

Liberty Diversified International is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to lead maintenance activities at our Fort Worth, TX facility. You will perform complex troubleshooting and ensure reliable operation of manufacturing equipment, applying strong mechanical and electrical aptitude and leadership to mentor junior technicians.

The role requires overtime availability and a track record of maintaining equipment and safety standards in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• 5+ years as a maintenance tech/mechanic in manufacturing or completion of level III requirements from LDI program.
• Troubleshooting complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• HVAC and plumbing fundamentals.
• Read and interpret manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail; leadership ability.
• Able to lead and manage multiple priorities; overtime/weekends/holidays when required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate preventive maintenance programs for manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Implement solutions and repair equipment to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
• Conduct root cause analysis and develop prevention strategies.
• Oversee installation, setup, and calibration of new equipment.
• Perform repairs on facilities with HVAC, plumbing, wastewater, and boiler maintenance.
• Mentor and train junior technicians; provide technical guidance.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records including work orders and parts usage.
• Communicate repair status and issues clearly; ensure safety and orderly work areas.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education

High School diploma or GED

2+ year technical degree

Experience in corrugated industry

Lean Six Sigma / Kaizen
