Job summary

Trinity Industries, Inc. is seeking a Senior Equipment Technician (2nd shift) for our Fort Worth, Texas facility.

The role involves performing a variety of maintenance tasks to diagnose causes of operating problems in plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. Responsibilities include complex repairs on production equipment motors and components, troubleshooting electrical issues up to 480V, and ensuring safety rules and documentation are

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2–4 years of related experience; hydraulics or furnace specialty is a plus.
• Ability to read equipment drawings and electrical & hydraulics schematics.
• May require working at heights (15 ft. or more).
• Must be able to climb ladders or stairs to reach objects.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance to determine causes of operating problems in plumbing, electrical systems/components, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems up to 480V and perform preventative maintenance and testing on wiring and components.
• Install and repair electrical systems and components of industrial machinery following blueprints and schematics.
• Test and modify production equipment and perform minor adjustments as needed.
