Job summary

Eaton's IS AER ITD division in Camarillo, CA is seeking a Machining Team Lead - 2nd Shift to guide day-to-day machine shop operations, assign work, maintain schedules, and uphold safety and quality. The role focuses on hands-on leadership with CNC and manual equipment, troubleshooting, and training machinists.

The position interfaces with Quality, Engineering and Planning to meet production goals and requires strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
5+ years in machine setups and operation (CNC/manual).
1+ year leading machinists or mentoring staff.
Residence within Camarillo, CA area preferred.
Export-controlled information access with US person eligibility.

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day machine shop operations; assign work and manage schedules.
Oversee CNC and manual equipment; troubleshoot and train.
Coordinate with Quality, Engineering, Planning and Manufacturing to meet production goals.
Ensure safety, quality and process discipline across shifts.
Lead shift meetings and communicate status clearly.
Support first-article and in-process inspections and NCR resolution.
