Phillips Manufacturing in UMATILLA, FL seeks a 2nd shift Machine Operator I to maintain production and quality. The role offers $18.75 per hour, plus a $1 shift differential, with four 10-hour days (4:30pm–3:00am). Onboarding requires ability to work 1st shift hours (6:00am–4:30pm) for up to 60 days.

Pre-employment drug testing and screenings are required. Essential duties include operating, inspecting, adjusting machines, reading measurements, using basic computer tools, and producing accurate

Qualifications

• Must be able to work 4 days of 10 hours on a 2nd shift and rotate to 1st shift for onboarding up to 60 days.

2nd SHIFT - MACHINE OPERATOR I - UMATILLA

Hiring Bonus!

$18.75 per hour, plus $1 shift differential

4day/10hr Shifts:
4:30pm - 3:00am

This role is scheduled for 2nd shift (4:30 PM-3:00 AM, four 10-hour days). For onboarding and training purposes, candidates.MUST be able to work 1st shift hours (6:00 AM-4:30 PM, four 10-hour days) for up to 60 days. Availability for both schedules is required.

Phillips Manufacturing is the one-stop shop for drywall finishing accessories, lath, stucco accessories, metal channels, interior framing, and fire-rated assemblies with facilities around the country.

A Machine Operator operates a machine maintaining continuity of operation at maximum production consistent with proper safety and quality requirements.

Essential Function:

• Operation: Inspect, Prepare, Adjust, Minor Repair of Machine.
• Quality: Meet Product Specifications: Taking & Reading Measurements.
• Computer Literacy: Moderate Skills Required (Scanning, Labels, etc.).
• Reporting: Produce Legible & Accurate Production Reports.
• Packaging: Place Finished Cartons/Bundles in Proper Holding Carts.
• Agility: Fast-Paced Environment. Walk, stand, bend, and twist for long periods of time. Repetitive Movement.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 55lbs continuously throughout shift.
• Reliability: Ensure to adhere to Attendance Policy.
• Safety: Abide by all Safety Protocol.
