Job summary

CHEP is seeking a logistics professional to oversee shipping, receiving, and inventory processes on a 2nd shift in a large manufacturing facility. You will coordinate with carriers, manage POs, and drive data-informed decisions to improve efficiency and KPI performance.

You will work in CHEP's hybrid environment, learn through automation and new technology, and contribute to safe, efficient supply chains. Training and occasional overtime may be required to meet production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shipping and receiving operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery and receipt of goods.
• Maintain accurate records of all shipments and provide transparency in logistics operations.
• Manage purchase orders to ensure timely processing and inventory levels.
• Coordinate with carriers and logistics partners to schedule inbound and outbound shipments.
• Implement strategies to optimize internal and external logistics operations and efficiency.
• Ensure data related to logistics and inventory is recorded for data-driven decisions.
• Contribute to the plant's production reporting with logistics insights to meet KPIs.
• Act as liaison between plant management and logistics teams to align priorities.
