Job summary

IDEMIA Secure Transactions in Exton, PA is seeking a Litho Press Operator to operate 5-, 6-, and 8-color sheet-fed presses while meeting Safety, Quality, Security, and Audit standards. The role supports the graphics team with setup, color matching, and in-process quality control during shifts from 2:30pm to 11:00pm.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 3 years of lithography experience, and familiarity with press room ISO procedures, 7QB, and FPR standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanically inclined with basic maintenance skills.
• At least 3 years as Litho operator and knowledge of press room ISO procedures.
• Adherence to 7QB and FPR standards.

Responsibilities

• Direct press helper/2nd press person and Kitter in daily tasks.
• Set up press by mounting plates, getting ready, and adjusting print quality, registration and color.
• Match color goals using a densitometer and color standards (PMS, customer, in-house).
• Perform final pre-run inspection and obtain authorization from graphics supervisor.
• Inspect orders for defects during production and correct issues promptly.
• Report production issues to supervisor promptly.
• Monitor fountain solution levels (conductivity, alcohol %).
• Mix ink if necessary.
• Complete final count and inspection with accurate records.
• Make proper PIF changes and hand to print planners for next reorder.
• Clean press thoroughly and safely with PPE.
• Perform maintenance on the UV system and weekly/monthly upkeep.
• Replace parts when applicable and adjust rollers.
• Proper handling and disposal of chemicals.
