Press Operator

Shift: 2nd

12 hr. shift / 36 hr. week

Reporting to the Pressroom Supervisor, the Pressman is responsible for the operation of an offset printing press.

Responsibilities and Accountability

• Set up, operation and maintenance of the printing press
• Perform make ready operations efficiently as possible to achieve efficient workflow
• Perform visual and instrumental inspections during press run to maintain color and quality
• Identify and remove any defective sheets
• Run press at acceptable speeds to achieve productivity and quality goals
• Alert supervisor of any problems with equipment, materials, or quality issues
• Perform all required quality sign offs
• Ability to mix inks when necessary
• Adhere to all ISO / SQF / HACCP personnel GMP practices, conduct and safety policies
• Performs other related duties as assigned
  
  
  

Requirements
