Job summary

The Imagine Group is seeking an Operator, Analog Press, to handle all aspects of operating analog printing equipment to production and quality standards in Minnesota. This role covers Flexo, Litho, Screen, and Offset presses and includes a $1/hr shift differential on a 6pm–6am rotating schedule.

Responsibilities include setup per job tickets, color matching, maintaining print quality, producing logs, and assisting with training and ink inventory. Overtime and general duties may apply.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of how to mix and produce correct color in printing.
• Ability to read and understand oral/written instructions.
• Math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Problem solving skills.
• Knowledge of press operations and functions.
• Reliability through attendance, punctuality, and attention to workstation.
• Positive safety attitude.

Responsibilities

• Read job tickets and set up the press per instructions.
• Perform make-ready/set-up for screen press ensuring color and print quality.
• Maintain optimum speed, registration, and print quality.
• Run, adjust, and troubleshoot production jobs.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Maintain production logs and reports.
• Assist training of production personnel.
• Assist in ink inventory and area cleanup.
• Assist in disposal of waste and keep area clean.
• Interact with customers professionally as needed.
• May perform prepress tasks such as screen prep and imaging screens.
