Job summary

GE Aerospace in Clearwater is seeking a Lead Manufacturing Engineer (2nd shift) to develop and implement manufacturing processes, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals. You will apply lean principles, manage projects, and support ISO/QC documentation within the cell.

The role requires strong experience in electronics assembly, fixture design, tooling, line issue resolution, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in electronics assembly environments.
• U.S. citizenship status required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement manufacturing processes to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
• Create and maintain manufacturing work instructions and related docs.
• Design or procure fixtures and tooling for electronic assemblies.
• Support equipment upgrades from purchase through installation.
• Analyze cost/benefit of process/equipment changes.
• Assist supervisors and operators in resolving process issues with root-cause corrective actions.
• Support EHS projects and lean initiatives to improve process capability and productivity.
• Lead quality improvement projects and track root-cause actions in theCell.
• Lead NTI initiatives and share best practices across locations.
• Participate in cross-functional quality sessions and drive corrective actions.
