Job summary

West Village Post Acute in Greenville, SC is seeking a Laundry Aide for the 2nd shift. The role ensures residents have clean clothing, linens, and bedding daily, maintaining a sanitary and welcoming environment with high cleanliness standards.

The position offers $11–$12 per hour, full-time hours (3:00 PM–11:00 PM), and benefits including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k) with company match. Training and growth opportunities are available within the network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry, housekeeping, or healthcare experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident clothing and facility linens.
• Ensure resident laundry is returned accurately and in a timely manner.
• Label and organize resident clothing as needed.
• Maintain adequate linen inventory throughout the facility.
• Inspect laundry items for damage, stains, or excessive wear.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow infection control, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Keep laundry areas clean, organized, and properly stocked.
• Report equipment malfunctions and maintenance concerns promptly.
• Assist other environmental services tasks as needed.
• Provide friendly, courteous service to residents and staff.
