Linley Park Post Acute in Anderson, South Carolina, is seeking a dependable Laundry Aide to join our compassionate team. You will ensure residents have clean clothing and linens while maintaining a safe, sanitary laundry environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous laundry, housekeeping, or environmental services experience preferred.
• One year of experience preferred.
• Experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure an adequate supply of clean linens for resident care and comfort.
• Collect resident laundry daily and as needed.
• Sort, stain-treat, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident clothing and facility linens.
• Label resident clothing items as needed and deliver to rooms promptly.
• Inspect linens for damage and remove worn items from service.
• Follow sanitation, infection control, and laundry procedures.
• Maintain inventory of laundry supplies and notify staff when supplies are needed.
