West Village Post Acute, a 132-bed skilled nursing facility in Greenville, SC, is hiring a Laundry Aide for the full-time 2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM). The role ensures residents have clean clothing, linens, and bedding daily, supporting a welcoming and sanitary environment.

Responsibilities include processing laundry, maintaining inventory, and following infection control procedures. The position offers benefits and opportunities within a growing organization.

Qualifications

• Follow safety procedures and infection control protocols.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsabilités

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident clothing and facility linens.
• Ensure resident laundry is returned accurately and in a timely manner.
• Label and organize resident clothing as needed.
• Maintain adequate linen inventory throughout the facility.
• Inspect laundry items for damage, stains, or excessive wear.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow infection control, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Keep laundry areas clean, organized, and properly stocked.
• Report equipment malfunctions and maintenance concerns promptly.
• Assist other environmental services tasks as needed.
• Provide friendly, courteous service to residents and staff.
