Job summary

Linley Park Post Acute is seeking a dependable Laundry Aide to join our team in Anderson, SC. This full-time role ensures residents have clean clothing and linens while maintaining a safe, sanitary laundry area.

The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $12–$13, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, PTO, and a 401(k) with company match. Previous healthcare or LTAC experience is a plus, and a high school diploma or GED is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous laundry, housekeeping, or environmental services experience preferred.
• Healthcare or long-term care experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure an adequate supply of clean linens for resident care and comfort.
• Collect resident laundry daily and as needed.
• Sort, stain-treat, wash, dry, fold, and distribute clothing and linens.
• Label resident clothing items as needed.
• Deliver clean laundry to resident rooms in a timely manner.
• Inspect linens and garments for damage and remove worn items.
• Follow sanitation and laundry procedures.
• Maintain inventory of laundry supplies and notify staff when needed.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Keep laundry areas clean and sanitary.
• Report equipment malfunctions and maintenance concerns promptly.
• Assist with housekeeping duties as needed.
